The Logistics Observatory is a tool for
continuously assessing the needs of the economic sectors in
relation to the logistics system, and is a meeting point
between companies and the decision takers which allows the
needs of the business fabric to be integrated with the
planning and management of infrastructures and services.
The aims of the Logistics Observatory are to define the
logistics needs of companies and give key information on
these needs, creating a reference framework stable in time
based on real parameters and objective observation, to
become an efficient tool for planning and managing the
Logistics System and to be able to give support to the
economic and business fabric.
The organisation of the Logistics Observatory involves
sectors of the public administration, the academic and
business sector, and the Advisory Council formed by experts
and decision takers of the Logistics sector.
